1. Raw material selection and processing
High-quality steel
Select high-quality steel with uniform thickness to ensure the strength and stability of the barrel. High-quality steel is not easy to deform during processing and use, laying the foundation for good sealing performance.
For example, cold-rolled steel plates that meet national standards are used, which have a smooth surface and high flatness, which is conducive to subsequent processing and sealing.
Sealing materials
Choose suitable sealing materials, such as rubber gaskets, sealants, etc. The sealing materials should have good elasticity, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, and be able to maintain the sealing effect under different environmental conditions.
For example, for some metal pails that need to contain corrosive substances, fluororubber gaskets with strong corrosion resistance can be selected; for metal bucket used in high temperature environments, high-temperature resistant silicone rubber gaskets can be selected.
2. Production process control
Precise blanking
Ensure the accurate blanking size so that the barrel body, barrel cover and barrel bottom have high matching accuracy. Accurate blanking can reduce errors in welding and assembly processes and improve sealing performance.
Adopting advanced CNC blanking equipment can ensure that the accuracy of blanking size is within ±0.1mm.
High-quality welding
Use appropriate welding technology to ensure that the weld is firm, free of pores and slag inclusions. Good welding quality can ensure the sealing of the barrel body and prevent liquid or gas leakage.
For example, the use of advanced welding technologies such as gas shielded welding or argon arc welding can improve welding quality and efficiency. At the same time, strict quality inspections are carried out on the welds, such as appearance inspection, non-destructive testing, etc., to ensure that the welds meet the sealing requirements.
3 Processing of barrel covers and barrel bottoms
The processing accuracy of barrel covers and barrel bottoms directly affects the sealing performance. Ensure that the diameter, flatness and other dimensions of the barrel covers and barrel bottoms meet the requirements and fit closely with the barrel body.
Use high-precision stamping equipment and molds to ensure the shape and size accuracy of the barrel covers and barrel bottoms. During the processing process, strict quality inspections are carried out on the barrel covers and barrel bottoms, such as diameter measurement, flatness inspection, etc., to ensure that they meet the sealing requirements.
4 Surface treatment
Surface treatment of metal pails, such as rust removal, phosphating, painting, etc., can improve the corrosion resistance and sealing of iron barrels. Surface treatment can form a protective film on the surface of the iron drum to prevent the steel from rusting and corrosion, and can also improve the adhesion between the sealing material and the surface of the iron drum.
For example, phosphating treatment can form a phosphating film on the surface of the iron drum to improve the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the paint; spray painting can form a uniform coating on the surface of the iron drum to improve the appearance quality and sealing of the iron drum.
