This 20-liter white metal UN pail is a heavy-duty, UN-certified steel packaging container, equipped with a locking fastening ring (clamp ring) and matching metal lid. It is widely used for safe storage and transportation of chemicals, coatings, adhesives, lubricants, food-grade materials and other liquid or solid contents that require hazardous goods packaging compliance.
Key Features
UN Certification for Dangerous Goods The pail passes UN performance testing, meeting UN packaging regulations for transporting specified hazardous substances. The UN marking is printed on the barrel body, valid for sea, land and air logistics, and satisfies export customs inspection requirements. Common UN codes include UN1A2 for steel drums/pails.
Fastening Ring (Buckle Clamp Closure) The removable hoop-style fastening ring with a latch mechanism enables quick opening and secure re-sealing. Compared with crimped lids, this design allows repeated opening & closing without special sealing tools, convenient for filling, sampling and emptying operations. The rubber gasket between lid and pail flange provides reliable leak-proof sealing.
Material & Surface Finish Made of high-quality tinplate / cold-rolled steel sheet. The exterior is coated with uniform white enamel paint, anti-rust, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. The interior can be customized with food-grade epoxy phenolic lining (BPA-free optional), suitable for food additives, edible oils, as well as solvent-based and water-based chemicals.
Specification: 20L Nominal Capacity Standard 20-liter volume, stable cylindrical structure, stackable design to save warehouse and container space. It fits standard pallet loading for container shipment.

For UN rated container rubber and EPDM gaskets have good performance of air tightness and anti-solvent property,they are exclusived used for UN containers.

4 Handle
Steel handle with white or black plastic becket pass the test of handle strength test hanging 55kg in air for 48 hours.
